The National Chairman of African Democratic Congress ( ADC) Mr Ralph Nwosu has said his Party, has fully re-strategized to take over power from the ruling APC in 2023.
Making the disclosure in an interview in Kano, Nwosu claimed his party was strongly repositioned to bring the necessary changes in security, economy and the general livelihood of Nigerians.
The party chieftain explained that he was in Kano to receive defectors from other parties.
He said among the decampees is the former Presidential Candidate of UNDP, Bashir Muhammad Abdulkadir, who is representing about 28 political parties in the state.
”Progressive minded opposition is coming to take over power from the APC come 2023. They are coming together to say enough is enough because our people are suffering unnecessarily”.
He informed that the ADC was aligning with the people of Kano and various categories of Nigerians across the Country to wrestle power from the mediocres and bring diversity management and inclusiveness in governance.”
“We are aware of all the atrocities and political misdeeds of other parties, the ADC as an all-inclusive party will simply come and clean the mess and introduce transformational governance as well as and instil diversity management and inclusiveness”
He said the ADC will embrace women, and the youth and allocate 77% of all the seats for them and leave the old ones with a negligible percentage. If you look at the National Assembly after the power conquest in 1953 it will all be dominated by women and youths.
Speaking earlier, the Kano State Chairman of ADC, Musa Shua’ibu Ungogo expressed happiness that the ADC is waxing stronger by the day.
He said the sky would be the limit of the party in the next year as membership is expected to rise.
