To cover administrative costs until the final amount is established, the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (FCT-MPWB) has requested that would-be pilgrims to Saudi Arabia in 2024 put aside N4.5 million.
This was announced in a statement released on Friday in Abuja by the board’s Assistant Chief Information Officer, Mr. Ahmad Saleh.
He said that from September 25th, forms would be available for purchase and registration would open.
Saleh requested that the draught be made payable to the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Abuja.
He stressed the importance of presenting a valid passport and N.I.N. at the time of registration at any of the six Area Councils in FCT.
No cash payments or proxy registrations will be accepted by the board.
Additionally, “it will also adhere strictly to the principles of first come, first served basis,” he added. (NAN)
