Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has called on Nigerians to unite and vote President Bola Tinubu out of office in the 2027 general elections.
Fayose made the call in a video shared on his Facebook page, where he criticised the economic situation under the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government.

He warned that more Nigerians could slip into poverty if the current economic challenges persisted, arguing that the country’s wealth was not benefiting enough people.
According to him, a functional economy should allow wealth to circulate across different sectors and improve the living conditions of citizens rather than remain concentrated in the hands of a few individuals.
Fayose also questioned the state of public services and security, noting that wealthy Nigerians still had to travel abroad for medical treatment and rely on armed guards to protect their homes.
He further claimed that commercial activities in parts of Abuja had declined, using the situation to argue that the country needed a change in leadership.
“You see this APC government, if you’re not poor yet, you will soon be poor,” he said, urging Nigerians to express their dissatisfaction through the ballot box in 2027.
He added: “We must put the sweetness back by voting out this government. Tinubu must go by fire, by thunder.”
Fayose’s remarks come amid growing political activity ahead of the 2027 general elections, with opposition figures and supporters increasingly calling for a change of government.
