Former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso has expressed confidence in the strength and credibility of a possible Peter Obi-Rabiu Kwankwaso ticket ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Kwankwaso said no other political combination would be able to match the proposed ticket in terms of credibility and public acceptance.

The former governor made the statement while discussing possible political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He maintained that the combination of Obi and himself would provide Nigerians with an alternative to the major political parties and address growing calls for political change.
Kwankwaso argued that both politicians have significant political experience and support bases that could complement each other if they decide to work together.
He also expressed confidence that such an alliance could attract voters across different regions and political interests.
The former governor urged Nigerians to consider the competence, credibility and track records of political candidates when deciding who to support in 2027.
His comments come amid ongoing consultations among opposition politicians and parties seeking to form alliances capable of challenging the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Kwankwaso said discussions surrounding possible political partnerships should focus on the interests of Nigerians and the need to provide effective leadership.
