Shortly after coming under fire for sharing a video where he mocks an airport worker who happened to be autistic, 50 Cent has now issued a formal written apology to the young man and his family.
The rapper had been at Cincinatti/Northern Kentucky Airport, when he had spotted the janitor named, Andrew, pushing his bucket and concluded that he was high.
While recording the young man on his phone, 50 Cent had asked him:
“What’s your name? What did you take before coming to work?”
Turning the video on himself, the rapper had added:
“The New generation is crazy, they crazy”
50 Cent had been dragged on social media after he had shared the video which he finally pulled down, and has now issued a formal written apology to Andrew and his family.
Andrew’s family has also confirmed that they have received the letter and forgiven the rapper, while adding that he had been made to make donations to a charity set up for autistic people called, ‘Autism Speaks’.
