The Netflix documentary series titled “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” produced by legendary rapper 50 Cent, is set to be released on Tuesday, the 2nd of December, 2025. This comes almost 2 months after Sean “Diddy” Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison, having been found guilty on two counts of transportation for the purposes of prostitution.
Despite the fact that 50 Cent has never hidden his disdain for Diddy, reports have said that the 4-part documentary is “very balanced, not a hit piece.”

According to Netflix, the upcoming series is “a staggering examination of the media mogul, music legend, and convicted offender.”
Describing the project as important, 50 Cent appreciated the victims who were brave enough to trust him and his director with their stories.
“I’m grateful to everyone who came forward and trusted us with their stories, and proud to have Alexandria Stapleton as the director on the project to bring this important story to the screen,” he said.
“I wondered how [singer Cassie Ventura] had the confidence to go out there against a mogul like Sean Combs. As a filmmaker, I instantly knew it was a stress test of whether we’ve changed as a culture, as far as being able to process allegations like this in a fair way,” director Alexandria Stapleton added in a statement.
Recall that in November 2023, Ventura filed a lawsuit against Combs alleging that he subjected her to abuse, violence and sex trafficking.
In 2024, Combs was indicted for racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution.
While Combs was found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution, he was not found guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking.
