The Federal Government, today, said it expects more than 50 presidents and heads of government across the globe, to attend the inauguration of President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari.
As part of the activities marking the inauguration, which will hold on May 29, a Special Jummu’at Prayer held today at the National Mosque, Abuja.
Chairman of the Media and Publicity Sub- Committee of the Presidential Inauguration Planning Committee, Chief Edem Duke spoke to newsmen in Abuja about the preparations for the one week programme. He said that invitation cards had been dispatched to all the 54 countries in the African continent and other countries of the world.
He also noted that a high security strategy is being put in place for a hitch-free inauguration.
