The Lagos State Police Command has reported the death of a 61-year-old man who was electrocuted during a flood incident in the Orile-Iganmu area.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the tragic incident in a post shared on his X handle, @benHundeyin, on Thursday.
“During the rain yesterday in Orile-Iganmu, a 61-year-old man, while wading through the floods, held on to a street light pole and sadly got electrocuted,” Hundeyin stated.
He urged the public to prioritize their safety during such hazardous conditions.
