
The Appeal Court sitting in Ibadan has adjourned the hearing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s appeal and application of Stay of Execution of the order of the Federal High Court, Abeokuta in Suit No FHC/AB/CS/114/2018 to Tuesday 20th November 2018.
The sitting today was to decide the fate of an expelled PDP member, Bayo Dayo, whose list of PDP candidates for 2019 general elections have been accepted and temporarily published by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the order of a Federal High Court, Abeokuta.
The adjournment followed the prayer of the Appellant Counsel, Emeka Etiaba SAN during the court process, who requested for a two-hour stand down to enable his team file in more documents in support of the application.
The Judges through the President of the Appeal Court while granting the request added that the court will afford both parties enough time to do the needful, he therefore adjourned till Tuesday, 20th December, 2018.
