
Thousands of the residents of Ilishan Community in Ikenne Local Government on Friday, January 18, 2019 lauded the effort of Ogun State 2019 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Hon Ladi Adebutu, over the donation of 500KVA transformer to the community.

The Olofin of Ilishan, HRM Oba (Barr) Mojeed Sonuga, took the delivery of the transformer on behalf of the Ilishan Community.
In a similar vein, Adebutu commissioned 500 KVA transformer he donated to Ikenne community earlier. Other life impacting projects commissioned at Ilishan included a borehole project constructed by Mr Owoseni Osibodu and three (3) solar energy panel project facilitated by former Vice Chairman of Ikenne LG and member of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon Owoseye Sonuga.

At a town hall meeting held with the National Association of Technicians and Artisans, various religious and community leaders across the local government, Adebutu expressed worries on the ugly state of affairs in the state especially the unwarranted neglect and decay of public facilities.
He assured them of his desire to provide good governance through provision of quality education, health, infrastructural development, massive job creation, adequate security, return to effective and efficient local administration and embrace of modern ideas that would engender quality living for the people of the state.

While addressing party faithfuls at ward 2, Ikenne and ward 6, Ogere, Adebutu enjoined them to maintain their article of faith in the leadership of Hon Sikirulai Ogundele led Ogun State Executive Committee of PDP. He also charged them to be steadfast in their commitment to the ideals of the party and determination to ensure victorious outings for all the candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
The candidates are Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (Presidency), Barr Bola Kalejaiye (Senate, Ogun East), Asiwaju Bola Oluwole (House of Representatives, Remo Federal Constituency) and Omoba Sunday Solarin (House of Assembly, Ikenne State Constituency) respectively.
