The Honourable minister of states for health, Dr A.O Mamora, has today during the presidential task force briefing on COVID-19, stated that medical equipments such as ventilators and oxygen concentrators have been distributed to all federal government owned tertiary hospitals all over the country.

Dr Mamora while speaking noted that the initiative to achieve regular and stable power supply in hospitals all over the country are being figured out.
According to him, the management of the Niger Delta Power Holdings have been dialogued with, during which they discussed partnership that will enhance stable power supply in federal government owned teaching hospitals and federal medical centres.
He further explained that the partnership will ensure both steady power supply and reduce over head cost in hospitals.
The savings realized from the initiative will therefore be used to tackle other areas of needs in the hospital.
