Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has come out to say that the club should sign Marquinhos this summer. He recently revealed that any side looking to reinforce their back four at the next opportunity should move for the Brazilian.
According to him, Marquinhos should be chased this transfer window because he is a fit, quick, robust, and hardened footballer who plays like a rock at the back.
He added that the Brazilian also has his great attitude, experience and leadership going for him, so he would be a good buy.
His words, “If any team is in the market for a centre-back, right now, out of the top teams, with the finances, Marquinhos is the only place I’m going.”
