Former Chairman, Kaduna South Local Government, Dr. Usman Bello on Friday, has condemned the early Friday morning bandits attack that led to the killing of two people and kidnapping of others in Ungwan Gimbiya Community of Sabo in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Bandits had in the early hours of Friday invaded Ungwan Gimbiya Community of Sabo in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State and abducted over 50 people and killed two persons.
Dr. Usman Bello, a PDP Chieftain urged the federal and state governments to find lasting solutions to the incessant killings in Kaduna State and in Nigeria.
He said inspite of all security measures, kidnapping has continued to thrive in Kaduna.
” I cannot comprehend. Inspite of the huge amount budgeted for security, with the deployment of security operatives across Kaduna state, the incident of kidnapping, killings and demand for ransom have continued to thrive”
He urged the government to provide lasting solutions to the invasion of criminals as individuals or groups are handicapped to do so.
He also warned that the way the security situation in Kaduna and Nigeria is going, it will come to a point where bandits will dictate to the government, or control the activities of the government.
