Popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has urged up-and-coming filmmakers not to give up on their dreams. She recently had her say via her X page, and fans have been reacting.
Announcing that her upcoming movie, “The Four: No One Fights Alone,” will be the first Nollywood film to debut at ODEON Luxe Leicester Square in London, Funke stated that she feels proud to be inspiring the next generation of creatives.

Expressing gratitude for the milestone, the filmmaker added that all of her achievements are a product of hard work and dedication.
Her words, “One of the things that means the most to me is knowing there are young creatives out there who look at my journey and say, ‘I can do this too.’
To every up-and-coming Nollywood filmmaker, please don’t give up on your dreams. I hope the work we’re doing today gives you a platform to tell your own stories and take them even further.
This is just the beginning for our industry, and I’m excited about what we can do together.”
