Manchester United manager, Ralf Rangnick has come out to say that he wanted Jesse Lingard in his squad vs Middlesbrough. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, he would have definitely loved to have the midfielder in his squad for the FA Cup defeat because MUFC were one outfield player less on the teamsheet yesternight.
Ralf added that he couldn’t have allowed the Englishman have four or five days off knowing his squad wouldn’t be complete ahead of an important game.
His words, “With Jesse, I told you what my information was and my knowledge was, and of course, I would have loved to have had Jesse in the squad.”
“We were one outfield player less on the teamsheet today, so why would I have allowed him to have four or five days off?”
“I would have loved to have had him in the squad but it was not the case and therefore, it doesn’t make sense to speak about players who were not available.”
