Atletico Madrid forward, Antoine Griezmann has come out to say that he is angry with his goal drought at the club. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, he has not been happy with his personal inputs this season because he knows the team has suffered to an extent because of his lack of goals.
Griezmann added that it is no coincidence that the drought started after his return from injury, and he hopes to start scoring again very soon.
His words, “Personally, I’ve been a bit pissed and annoyed,”
“I’m not scoring and I know the team — and everyone — need my goals. It’s something that can’t happen. So I’m trying to change that.”
“We’ve got a lot to play for,”
“We’re playing [to be in] the Champions League. We’re playing for a magnificent club like Atleti, for our fans, for our families. I don’t think we need to look for any more things to motivate us. We just need to win the next game and qualify for the Champions League.”
“I felt good until my injury,”
“After that it was hard for me to come back. I’m trying to help the team as much as I can. I feel good in general but what I’m missing is goals.”
“They’re a necessity for the team, and I need them too. That’s the only thing I’m missing, but it’s something that’s important in terms of our results, so I’ll keep working to improve.”
