    PDP Will Recapture Kwara In 2023, Says Bukola Saraki

    Former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki has charged the new state executive council of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kwara State to begin work immediately towards recapturing political power in the State in 2023.

    Speaking after the inauguration of the new executive council of the party in Ilorin on Saturday, he said “the struggle for Kwara begins now, let commitment be your watchword.

    “Let campaign begin with your election today at wards, local governments and state levels as you begin your tenure in office.”

    “The task ahead is a serious one,” he stated.

    Saraki commended the peaceful conduct of the exercise, asserting that it was a strong signal that the party is waxing stronger with a common bond for success take over of government in 2023.

    “The peaceful conduct of this congress has confirmed to me that we are indeed ready to take back power in Kwara.

    “I charge all the new state officers of our party to begin work in earnest to return PDP to power in 2023 and reposition Kwara state again,” he stated.

    In attendance at the congress were former Governor, Abdulfatai Ahmed, former Sports Minister, Bolaji Abdullahi, former National chairman of PDP, Abubakar Kawu Baraje, Razaq Atunwa, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim, Abubakar Kanike and Ambassador Gana Yisa and a host of others.
