Chelsea goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy has come out to say that Senegal felt they were robbed against Egypt in their World Cup qualifier’s first leg duel in Cairo. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, the game his country played in Cairo was extremely disappointing because VAR wasn’t working to make the correct calls during the match.
Mendy added that the players felt really disappointed after the game, but justice was served in the second leg.
His words, “The game we played in Cairo was very difficult, we were disappointed after the first-leg defeat.”
“VAR wasn’t working and we felt we were robbed.”
“We were disappointed when we arrived in Senegal, but the fans supported us and they gave us the motive,”
“In the second leg, we scored an early goal, and it was a memorable night. It was magical.”
