Bayern Munich forward, Sadio Mane cannot match Robert Lewandowski’s performances at Bayern Munich, ex-Mali defender, Fousseni Diawara has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, most people look at new signing Mane at Bayern Munich and expect him to be the new Lewandowski, but he’ll only be able to be himself in his new surrounding.
Diawara added that he definitely expects the Senegalese to improve Bayern Munich’s attack this season.
His words, “I see the same Sadio Mane. Maybe it’s the people seeing another Sadio Mane. They expect a lot more from him. Sadio Mane does Sadio Mane at Bayern except that we expect him to do Lewandowski.”
“For me, he has to stay in his register. A player who is able to score, who will make assists and create chances for his teammates. I think he will improve the workforce, especially the offensive animation of Bayern Munich.”
