Save The Poor And Needy Charity Initiative (SPANCI), a non-governmental organization, recently called on President Bola Tinubu to prioritize economic growth initiatives without further delay.
On Tuesday, the group unanimously decided.
Presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP), respectively, submitted petitions challenging Tinubu’s election, but the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal ruled against them last week.

In response to the tribunal’s confirmation of Tinubu’s election, SPANCI urged the President to prioritize the welfare of the people.
In a statement released by the organization’s president, Comrade Yemi Ezekiel Bello, the group urged President Buhari to prioritize economic growth through infrastructure development.
Our Constitution of 1999, as amended, states: “We also want focus on the security of lives and properties of people, and to also charge the law enforcement agents to respect the right to the dignity of the people as enshrined in Section 14 (1) (2) (a), (b), and (c) of our Constitution.”
