Popular American actor and film director, Sean Penn has come out to express his displeasure about Will Smith’s slap of Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars. This is coming nearly a year and a half after the infamous incident, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, it was very obvious that Will Smith undermined his own career performance by hitting Chris Rock, because it was such a silly thing to do on live TV.

Sean added that he also hated the fact that most people clapped their hands to applaud him after his speech.
His words, “I don’t know Will Smith. I met him once. He seemed very nice when I met him. He was so f***ing good in King Richard.”
“Smith undermined his own career performance and the vaunted honor he received in hitting the 58-year-old comic.”
“Why the f*** did you just spit on yourself and everybody else with this stupid f***ing thing?”
“And you’re still sitting there? Why are you guys standing and applauding his worst moment as a person?”
