The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has issued a statement in response to the tribunal’s rulings on petitions challenging the results of the governorship elections in Enugu and Bauchi states.
The petition of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate Sadique Abubakar was denied by the tribunal sitting in Bauch State on Wednesday, as previously reported by Infostride News, which verified the victory of PDP’s Governor Bala Mohammed.
The tribunal in Enugu State, which heard the appeal submitted by Barr Chijioke Edeoga of the Labour Party (LP), also validated the election of Governor Peter Mbah of the PDP on Thursday.

PDP responded to the rulings with a post on its official X, praising the two governors for their “admirable” actions.
The leading opposition party claims that the verdict is evidence of the public’s trust in them in the states of Enugu and Bauchi.
A portion of the message says as follows: “The judgement of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunals in Bauchi and Enugu States, upholding the victories of our party in both states, is commendable and highly deserving.” The verdict shows that voters in Bauchi and Enugu states, and all of Nigeria, have faith in our great party. Congratulations.”
