No initial reports of injuries have been made, and it is unclear how extensive the attack was.
According to a military spokesman, the drones arrived “in groups from different directions.”
According to Kyiv’s mayor, one person was hurt and a fire started close to one of the city’s parks in the Podil neighborhood.
Serhiy Popko, chief of Kyiv’s municipal military administration, said on the Telegram messaging service, “Drones came onto the capital in groups and from different directions.”
