Matt Argall Deliberates Opening Up a Label With Kryoman

MIAMI, FL–(Marketwired – Apr 15, 2014) – This past weekend the town of Indio in the Californian desert, about 130 miles east of Los Angeles, was transformed into a stunning musical space city. Starting Friday, a lineup of music acts entertained the crowds flocking to the “Zero Gravity” event. The space-themed show featured a number of electronic dance music artists that played until the early morning hours inside the 33,000 square foot large area of the Riverside County Fairgrounds. Starting the festival season 2014, the out-of-this-world party presented acts like Chris Lake, Ec Twins, DVBBS and Kryoman that kept the energy level up at this rocket-ship event. 

Kryoman, who took the stage on Saturday, has been part of the electronic music scene since the early days of rave. Born in London, England, he has conquered one country after another over the years and now operates out of Miami, Los Angeles, New York City and Ibiza. Kryoman has performed with many major acts, including The Black Eyed Peas, Afrojack and Nicki Minaj; his latest album “Crowdfunk” was released in August 2013. Back in England, he goes by his real name Andrew Moore, but in his new home in Miami, Florida, he is known as Kryoman, “the robot.” His signature stage outfit consists of a ten-foot tall robot suit which is equipped with smoke guns, LED lights, pyrotechnic special FX systems and High-Def LED mapping. Intrigued by Kryoman’s talent and versatility — aside from performing electronic music he is also a producer, a designer and a DJ — Matt Argall, a Florida-based businessman, is thinking about opening a record label together with “the robot.”

The collaboration seems obvious: Kryoman on the one hand, who knows the music scene inside-out, and Matt Argall on the other hand, who can bring extensive business experience to the table. It redounds to their advantage that they are both based in Miami. Over the last few years the live music scene in the city has experienced a significant growth in all genres, from traditional Latin and other Caribbean music to hip hop, experimental electronic music, punk or indie rock, which makes Miami a great place to look out for new talent. At the same time, the thriving party scene, especially the numerous nightclubs along the boardwalk of Miami Beach which welcome hundreds of young people every night, offer an ideal audience for the up-and-coming musicians.

For Matt Argall, who was born in California and spent his childhood in Canada before he moved with his family to Florida, entering the music business is new territory. It would not be a first though. In the course of his career, Matt has launched several businesses in a variety of sectors. He thinks of new concepts and follows his ideas regardless of how much in-depth knowledge he has about the particular industry. Matt simply follows the motto “learning by doing,” or he teams up with an expert in the field that he wants to conquer. When it comes to music, Matt and Kryoman would make a perfect team to redefine the music scene in Florida, USA, and around the globe.
