Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, representing Niger East Senatorial District, has expressed appreciation for the Military’s effective operation resulting in the neutralization of notorious bandit leader Yellow Jambros and approximately 50 others within his constituency.
In a statement, Senator Sani, who also serves as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, commended the Military for addressing the menace posed by Jambros, whose criminal activities had inflicted hardship on the lives of people in the region.
“People in my constituency are beginning to heave a sigh of relief after years of massacre, kidnapping, and wanton destruction of properties,” Senator Sani stated.

He extended gratitude to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and the Nigerian Military for their swift response to the cries of his constituents.
Expressing optimism about the progress made, the Senator urged the Military and other security agencies operating in the area not to relent until a complete end to the prevailing security challenges is achieved.
Senator Sani highlighted a significant positive impact of the operation, noting, “I was reliably informed that the Minna-Sarkin pawa-Kaduna Link Road, which was abandoned by commuters for over ten years due to bandit activities in the area, is now open and free for motorists.
This is a great success and is highly commendable.”
The successful operation, executed by the Joint Security Taskforce led by the military, resulted in the demise of Yellow Jambros and more than 50 members of his gang as they attempted to escape the onslaught in communities around Shiroro and Munya local government areas of the state on Wednesday morning.
