The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has issued a warning to the public regarding a fraudulent employment scheme circulating online.
The Commission clarified that any online advertisements claiming an ongoing recruitment exercise by the EFCC are false and should be disregarded.
Dele Oyewale, the Head of Media and Publicity at the EFCC, emphasized in a statement that the Commission is not currently conducting any recruitment exercises.

He urged the public to ignore any recruitment advertisements that have not been officially announced by the EFCC.
Furthermore, the EFCC stated that it is actively pursuing those responsible for disseminating misleading information about recruitment on its behalf.
The Commission assured the public that these fraudsters will be apprehended and face the full consequences of their actions.
In light of this development, the EFCC urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious recruitment activities claiming to be associated with the Commission.
