Veteran Nigerian singer Seyi Shodimu has come out to mourn the passing of his close friend DJ Exmax, whose real name is Chris Adeniyi. DJ Exmax was highly recognized as an early pioneer of the global Afrobeats movement, leading fans to flood social media with their heartfelt tributes.
Describing the late DJ as a man with a generous heart, Shodimu stated that he still cannot believe Exmax is gone.
The “Love Me Jeje” crooner concluded by saying that Chris’ death is further proof that life is really unpredictable.
His words, “Still hard to believe you’re gone, Chris Adeniyi @legendarydjexmax. Life is truly unpredictable. You will be missed, and your memory will live on. Rest well, my brother.”
