Former Germany international, Dietmar Hamann has come out to question Bayern Munich’s decision to buy Harry Kane last summer. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he really does not see the need for Kane at Bayern Munich because the team scored more goals without the English striker last season.

Dietmar added that Harry costing over 100 million and earning a very high salary makes him an unnecessary signing.
His words, “How many titles have they won? Bayern scored more goals without Kane last year than they have now. He also had his price. That’s a very high salary and it cost over 100 million. If [Mathys] Tel had played up front, would they necessarily be in a worse position? I don’t blame him at all for it being his fault – of course not.
But the club sold a lot of jerseys. That was the star purchase. The club would admit that it was a mistake in quotation marks – you can argue about whether it was a mistake. I would definitely ask the question internally: Are you better positioned with 100 million in the bank and him back on the island?”
WOW.
