Liverpool defender, Trent Alexander-Arnold has come out to say that he wants to win more trophies. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, winning trophies will be a guiding factor in deciding his future with the Reds because he is a footballer who is highly motivated by winning things and staying elite.
Trent added that he has been at Liverpool for 2 decades now, and he’ll see out the current season at the club, at least.
His words, “The most important thing is trophies if I’m honest. I want to win trophies. I’m a player who is highly motivated by winning things and being elite. That’s probably the main factor of anything. If you have a personality that’s elite, who wants to win and will do anything to win then that’s what drives them.
Look, I have been at the club for 20 years now. I have signed four or five contract extensions and none of those have been played out in public. This one won’t be either. I want to be a Liverpool player this season (as a minimum) is what I will say.”

Left with an empty ground, Houlding founded Liverpool in 1892 and the club has played at Anfield ever since. The capacity of the stadium at the time was 20,000, although only 100 spectators attended Liverpool’s first match at Anfield.
