The Organizing Committee for Interclubs Competitions have decided to exceptionally open the second registration period for the 2014 season from 1 May 2014 to 5 August 2014, instead of the regular 1 July to 5 August.
This is due to the fact that the group phase matches of the Orange CAF Champions League and Orange CAF Confederation Cup commences on the weekend of 16-18 May 2014.
The decision taken at the committee’s meeting held on 28 April 2014 at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt added that clubs can start registering players on condition that the new players are registered with the respective federations and has fulfilled all the registration requirements as per the CAF Interclubs Regulations.
