Lionel Messi Is My Hero – Musiala

Bayern Munich midfielder, Jamal Musiala has come out to reveal his admiration for Lionel Messi. He recently revealed that Barcelona were his favourite team growing up, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, watching Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets in midfield while growing up was fascinating, and they were always his reference for anything football.

Musiala added that he watched Barcelona matches over and over again, and he always wore a Messi jersey.

His words, “FC Barcelona was my favourite team and because of that they were always my reference. The midfield with Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets fascinated me. I could watch their games over and over again. On the back of my shirts as a kid, the name was almost always Messi. I also had one with Neymar, but Messi was my hero, my favourite player.”
