Liam Delap should be cautious when deciding his future this summer, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, it is clear that big clubs are looking at the young striker right now, but he needs to be careful so he doesn’t end up on the bench next season.
Jimmy added that it is important that Delap plays at his new club because he is a future England striker.
His words, “With Delap, I know big clubs are looking at him. Ipswich look like they are going down. He needs to stay in the Premier League. If he’s playing in a more established Premier League team, what can he deliver? It’s important that he plays. If he’s going to be second choice — if I’m his agent, I’d advise him not to go.”
