Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau State has described sponsors of terror attacks in the country as “enemies of humanity and democracy”.
“The sponsors of these attacks on humanity stand condemned now and in the hereafter. We must all mobilise to check the carnage”, Jang said on Wednesday in a statement signed by his Director of Press Affairs, Mr. James Mannok.
The Nigeria Governors Forum, NGF, factional chairman, who was reacting to the twin explosions that rocked the popular Terminus Market, Jos, on Tuesday afternoon, condemned the “headless destruction of lives and property by these elements”, and urged security agencies to fish out the perpetrators.
Jang called on Nigerians to see the war against terrorism as a collective challenge that must be tackled collectively.
He added that government was assessing the situation with a view to taking prompt actions thereafter.
