Ex-Liverpool midfielder Didi Hannan has come out to say that Manchester City should replace Pep Guardiola. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even though the Spanish manager has been absolutely sensational in the EPL since he arrived England, last season was the turning point for Pep, and Manchester City clearly needs a new manager.

Didi added that while Guardiola will want to rectify his mistakes with his new players, he doesn’t see his team winning anything tangible next season.
His words, “When Pep Guardiola left Bayern Munich after three years, all the players said that they were exhausted so I never expected him to last this long at Manchester City, he demands so much from the players.
They have been sensational in the Premier League and got across the line in the Champions League, but I think last season was a turning point. He got a new contract to get the critics off his back but I think City need something new, they need a new voice because things do get stale.
I think City need a manager who lights a fire up in the players, I think a fresh input would do them good. He would never be sacked but a big clue was Florian Wirtz asking Guardiola how long he would be at the club, and the reports said he couldn’t tell him.
That is an honest answer but not what players want to hear, I think he will want to win the Premier League or the Champions League and go out with bang. Will that happen? I can’t see them winning either next season.”
WOW.
Pep Guardiola Sala is a Spanish professional football manager and former player who is currently managing Premier League club Manchester City. Guardiola is the only manager to win the continental treble twice, the youngest to win the UEFA Champions League, and he also holds the records for the most consecutive league games won in La Liga, the Bundesliga, and the Premier League. He is considered to be one of the greatest managers of all time.
Guardiola has played for and advocated on behalf of the Catalonia football team. Between 1995 and 2005, he played seven friendly games for Catalonia.
Under Guardiola’s predecessor Frank Rijkaard, Barcelona were known for a 4–3–3 with plenty of flair with Ronaldinho being the centre point of the attack. Under Guardiola, however, the team became more disciplined with a greater focus on possession and a disciplined and aggressive pressing style.
Guardiola was born to Dolors and Valentí. He has two older sisters and a younger brother, Pere, a football agent. He is an atheist. Guardiola met his wife Cristina Serra when he was 18. They married on 29 May 2014.
