Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has come out to say that Kylian Mbappe is recovering from his acute gastroenteritis illness. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even though the French striker is currently healing from his sickness, there is still no guarantee that he’ll be ready in time to partake in Real Madrid’s next Club World Cup game against Pachuca.

Alonso added that Mbappe is already back from the hospital, and the club remains optimistic about a quick return.
His words, “He’s better. It’s been two days since he came back from hospital.
He’s recovering, and day by day we’re increasingly optimistic about him for the next match.”
