Donald Trump’s Nobel Peace Prize nomination has been suddenly withdrawn by the person who nominated him. Oleksandr Merezhko, the Ukrainian lawmaker who was behind the nomination, withdrew it because Trump did not help stop the war between Ukraine and Russia.
According to him, he no longer has faith in Donald Trump’s ability to end the war between Ukraine and Russia, despite initially feeling the U.S. president could make it happen.

He added that Trump is clearly evading and dodging the need to sanction Russia.
His words, “Trump is evading—he is dodging—the need to impose sanctions on Russia.
He had virtually no reaction to recent large-scale strikes on the Ukrainian capital. He has chosen the path of appeasement.”
WOW.
