The Osun State caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared its unwavering loyalty to Governor Ademola Adeleke, resolving to follow him in any political direction he chooses.
This resolution was part of a communiqué issued at the end of a high-level stakeholders’ meeting held on Saturday at the Government House Banquet Hall in Osogbo.
The meeting, which drew representatives from all arms of the party and government, reaffirmed the party’s confidence in Governor Adeleke’s leadership and lauded his performance since taking office.

“The PDP state leadership resolved to follow Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke wherever he goes,” the communiqué stated.
While acknowledging the Governor’s ongoing consultations with political stakeholders at both local and national levels, the party caucus urged him to continue engaging with key figures to solidify his political agenda.
“The leaders, who praised the Governor’s leadership and performance in office, mandated him to continue consultations with all stakeholders locally and nationally,” the communiqué added.
In attendance were prominent figures including Governor Adeleke, Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi, Senate Deputy Minority Leader Senator Lere Oyewumi, and several members of the National and State Assemblies.
Other notable figures at the meeting included Honourables Bamidele Salam, Clement Olohunwa, Taofeek Abimbola Ajilesoro, High Chief (Mrs) Modupeola Adeleke, and PDP South-West Vice Chairman, Engr. Kamorudeen Ajisafe.
The Osun State PDP Chairman, Sunday Bisi; Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Adewale Egbedun; Deputy Speaker, Ireyode Oyewusi; and Secretary to the State Government, Teslim Igbalaye, were also in attendance.
Also present were Chief of Staff Kazeem Akinleye, former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Senator Oluwole Alabi, Alhaji Tajudeen Oladipo, Fatai Akinbade, Lasun Yusuf, and Gani Olaoluwa.
Others included Rev. Bunmi Jenyo, ALGON State Chairman Sarafadeen Awotunde, Special Adviser on Politics Muniru Raji, SUBEB Chairman Ibukun Fadipe, and State PDP Secretary Bola Ajao.
The meeting featured a detailed briefing by Governor Adeleke and saw a united expression of loyalty from party leaders across the state.
