Sabrina Carpenter’s beloved dogs have become the cover stars for Dogue 2025. Both dogs, Goodwin, a 14-year-old mix of Maltese, Yorkshire Terrier, Lhasa Apso, and long-haired Chihuahua, and Louie, a 1-year-old Cavapoo, recently posed for a joint photo shoot.
Answering a questionnaire online, Sabrina revealed that neither dog has a last name, all thanks to Rihanna.

After Dogue magazine asked for the full names of her pets, she simply responded, “It’s just Goodwin and Louie. They’re like Rihanna—they don’t need a last name.”
She further disclosed that her dogs have astrological signs, stating that Goodwin is an Aries while Louie is a Taurus.
On the most human things her dogs have done, the singer shared that her 14-year-old dog actually understands when a human being is sick.
According to her, Goodwin shows the kind of empathy only seen in humans, and the level of emotion he displays makes him a lovely pet to have around.
“This sounds so foo-foo, but Goodwin is really empathetic. His eyes are humanlike. He’s got a lot of emotion; he has a lot of stories,” Sabrina said.
The popular artist noted that 1-year-old Louie is also an amazing listener who comes around as soon as he hears his name.
She concluded by praising both Goodwin and Louie for being amazing pets that have completely changed her life.
“They’re so attuned. Louie is such a good listener. When you call his name, he actually comes to you.
Their habits? Goodwin grunts when he’s trying to get your attention. Louie spins in circles before he poops,” she added.
