Suspected gunmen have killed Superintendent of Police (SP) Ayuba Micah, the Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) of ‘A’ Division, Suleja, Niger State.
The attack occurred at about 3:00 a.m. on Saturday when three armed men invaded his residence in the Behind Sandoco area of Suleja.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama disclosed the incident in a post on his official X account on Sunday.
According to Mrs Asabe Micah, the widow of the late officer, the assailants shot her husband before fleeing with their mobile phones.
SP Micah was rushed to the General Hospital in Suleja, where doctors confirmed him dead. His remains have since been deposited at the hospital’s mortuary.
The family is expected to announce burial arrangements in due course.
