Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has said that despite dropping a criminal complaint against PSG, the club is still owing him more than €55 million ($64m) in salary and bonuses. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even though his lawsuit was made to look like he intentionally wanted to hurt PSG, he only involved the law because his demands are his legal right.

Mbappe added that despite the fact that he still loves PSG, he only wants to get what he is owed.
His words, “It’s my legal right, it’s labor law.
The way the proceedings went, it gave the impression that I wanted to hurt PSG. I signed an employment contract, and I just wanted to be paid. I have nothing against PSG, I love that club, I have friends there. But it’s the only way to get what I’m owed.
I have friends on the team, and those who know me know that friendship is important to me.
You can’t spit on a team that has your friends on it… My story was over, and I left with no regrets. Even the things I did wrong are part of my story. When I played there, we came very close.
We didn’t win, and my time was up. Real Madrid called me, it had always been my dream, and I could have gone there earlier.”
WOW.
