Popular media personality Do2dtun has issued a public service announcement to DJs and hypemen. He recently advised them to review and adjust their rates ahead of the festive season, and fans have been reacting.
In a post on X, the former OAP said that because several Nigerian musicians are known to charge exorbitant fees around December, DJs and hypemen can take advantage by offering more flexible pricing.

According to him, being flexible with their pricing will go a long way towards filling entertainment slots that might otherwise remain vacant due to budget constraints for many show organizers.
“This is a public service announcement to all Hypeman & DJs yet again. We are getting close to that time of the season where our beloved musicians will charge ridiculously, & maybe some brands & individuals can’t afford it.
So, pls adjust your rate cards so you can fill in for them. Hype is alive,” he wrote.
Recall that Do2dtun recently supported singer Paul Okoye, a.k.a Rudeboy, after a serious rape allegation surfaced against him online.
An X user, @chubbiedivah, accused Rudeboy of raping his house-help and sending his wife and sister-in-law out of his residence, and the claim quickly spread across social media.
Reacting, Do2dtun condemned the allegations, backing Rudeboy’s decision to track the girl down and make her answer for the false allegation.
“Listen @rudeboypsquare, if you leave that girl @chubbiedivah, we go fight. I am looking for a scapegoat too & I mean it. The damage is unbelievable. It’s hard to defend things you know are not true about your personal life, especially when some dimwits say it with such audacity with no proof. I have gone through these for years, but one day will be one day. No one has the monopoly of madness,” he added.
