Bollywood actress Elli AvrRam has said that popular Indian actor Salman Khan has been her protector in the movie industry. She recently opened up about her bond with Salman and how he supported her when she first joined Bollywood.
Speaking during an exclusive interview with SCREEN, Elli revealed that she is very grateful to Salman for being very protective of her over the years.

Emphasizing that the bad stories she has heard about other Bollywood actresses have been heartbreaking, she disclosed that the fear of Salman is to thank for her own good experience as an actor in India.
She described Khan as her guardian angel, stressing that the veteran actor is very protective of his people.
“What I am extremely grateful for when it comes to Salman and the fondness he has had for me is that he is very protective of his people. I do believe he has been like an angel in my life.
In all my years in the industry, from what I have understood, when it comes to a lot of other girls and what they have experienced in the industry, it’s been extremely shocking for me to hear.
And I somehow understood that a lot of people are scared of Salman Khan, so they don’t dare to misbehave. That’s been a beautiful protection and I am very grateful for that,” she said.
Elli further noted that leaving Sweden, where she is originally from, to live alone in India and pursue her acting career has been very challenging.
She concluded by saying that life as an independent woman outside of her home has been very difficult thus far.
“I have been in touch with Salman. In fact, I recently met him after many years at Ganpati. I am actually very bad at being in touch. I live in my bubble, and I am focused on so many things I want to do.
I work on myself a lot. There are so many things you need to control and take care of, living alone in a different country that functions very differently from the country you were born in and grew up in with your parents. Suddenly, you are here all independent and alone, and you have to figure out life.
I have been very bad at asking for help, even from my dad. I like to do everything on my own, but it’s difficult,” she said.
