Popular American singer Nelly has penned a heartfelt message to his wife, Ashanti. He recently celebrated his woman as she marked her birthday, and fans have been reacting. Flaunting a picture of her on Instagram, he wrote, “Happy Birthday to the most beautiful and amazing woman in this world. Marrying you wasn’t just finding love — it was finding home. Love you, mama.”
The couple, who rekindled their relationship after years apart, tied the knot earlier this year and have since become one of fans’ favourite celebrity love stories.
Meanwhile, Nollywood actor Sunkanmi Omobolanle has come out to mourn his late half-brother, Ayomikun, son of veteran actors Peju Ogunmola and Papi Luwe.
He simply shared a throwback photo of himself and Ayomikun, and fans have been reacting.
In his Instagram post to celebrate Ayomikun’s posthumous birthday, Sunkanmi said that he still hears his late brother’s voice echoing during quiet moments.
According to him, even though he knows that death took his sibling away too soon, he won’t fail to cherish the laughter and kindness he left behind.
“My dearest brother,
Today the world feels softer – as if even the wind remembers your name.
I still hear your voice echoing in quiet moments, the way you’d smile and call me ‘Idan mi,’ as though those two words could wrap me in warmth no one else could give.
Heaven gained you too soon, but I hold on to the laughter you left behind, the kindness you carried, and the love that still lingers in every corner of my heart,” he wrote.
