Popular rapper Odumodublvck has opened up about a life-threatening surgery that made him feel like he was going to die. He recently revealed that the scary ordeal happened just as he was about to release his hit single, “Declan Rice.”
Speaking during an interview, Odumodu said that the surgery led to the total removal of his tonsils, and he has been living without tonsils ever since.
According to him, the experience was so terrifying that he actually thought he was not going to survive, so he is more than glad to still be alive today.
“That’s so crazy Because I thought I was going to die. That’s so crazy When I dropped Declan rice, that’s when I did the surgery. I took out my tonsils.
I don’t have tonsils and when I did the surgery the first time, this first time I’m saying this on camera,” he said.
The rapper further noted that while the operation was originally expected to last 20 to 30 minutes, it ended up lasting as long as 5 hours.
Describing his survival as a miracle, he shared that an assistant doctor who lived an hour away happened to be just 2 minutes from the hospital when his doctor called him to help.
“Surgery of 20 minutes or 30 minutes took five hours. Just the guy that was doing the surgery said that in 12 years of doing that surgery he has never asked for help.
But that day he asked for help and the guy that he asked for the help was staying one hour away But that day when he called he was two minutes at the filling station.
So he just came in that even the hospital would not know he came in so he came like an angel and went When the surgery was done, I thought I was actually going to die. I was telling my mother that I’m not going to make it,” he added.
