Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) will secure victory in all 5,720 polling units across the state in the upcoming election.
Speaking during the party’s campaign rally in Awka, the state capital, on Monday, Soludo described Anambra as APGA’s “fortress,” stressing that the party remains deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
“Because we’re not taking any vote for granted and we want to earn every vote, we are campaigning as if we are the underdog to unknown opponents,” the governor said.

He noted that APGA’s campaign strategy involves extensive grassroots mobilization across communities, markets, and streets in the state.
“We are working very hard; we are in all the markets, we are in all the streets, we are everywhere campaigning vigorously, house to house, door to door,” Soludo stated.
Reiterating his confidence in APGA’s dominance, Soludo said the party’s goal extends beyond winning local government areas or electoral wards.
“Our target this time is not just to win 21 of the 21 local governments or the 326 electoral wards. We are targeting all the 5,720 polling units. We want an election that is free, fair, transparent, and credible. We don’t want any mago-mago,” he declared.
The governor emphasized that APGA’s performance in governance and its connection with the grassroots would guarantee the party’s sweeping victory at the polls.
