Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has warned her followers to beware of fake social media accounts impersonating her. She recently revealed that her impersonators have been offering fraudulent job offers to unsuspecting fans online.
In an Instagram post, the moviestar urged her fans to be aware that she’ll never ask anyone for money via her social media accounts.

According to her, the account pretending to be her has been going about asking her fans for their private information, just to defraud them in the end.
Bukky stated that her followers should immediately report and block anyone impersonating her online to prevent more avoidable financial losses.
“Dear friends and supporters,
Please be cautious of fake accounts pretending to be me. I never requested for money.
Then, I will never request for personal information or private chat on any other account. This is my main page!
If you receive any suspicious messages or offers, kindly report and block those accounts immediately,” she wrote.
The filmmaker further noted that the fake account went as far as offering a UK job vacancy to entice Nigerians and swindle them.
Bukky Wright concluded by appreciating her well-wishers for their constant love and support over the years.
“NB: A post was made on my account offering a job vacancy in UK and in turn we realize was fraudulent please disregard!!!
Thank you all for your continued love and support. Your safety and trust mean so much to me.
With love,
Bukky Wright,” she added.
