Barcelona forward Marcus Rashford has pledged to do better for the Spanish team. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he realizes that he could have played better against Elche over the weekend, so fans can rest assured that he’ll improve his performance as the season progresses.

Rashford added that the latest victory was important after the tough defeat against Real Madrid.
His words, “I try to give my best. I could have done better against Elche and I promise to improve, but I’m generally happy with my performance.
It’s a very important win. It’s always important, after a defeat, to win the next game; that’s the most important thing.
In my opinion, if I do things right on the pitch and with the team, I’ll always be able to score and create goals. My goal is to connect with my team-mates and feel in sync with them, and that’s exactly how I feel right now.
We work hard to win. We’re taking it one game at a time. We need to keep playing as a team.
This is Barca, and the demands must always be at their highest. It’s true we have a lot of injuries, but that’s football, and the same eleven players won’t win every game. We must keep playing as one team and show fighting spirit and unity.”
WOW.
Futbol Club Barcelona is a professional football club based in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, that competes in La Liga, the top flight of Spanish football.
Founded in 1899 by a group of Swiss, Catalan, German, and English footballers led by Joan Gamper, the club has become a symbol of Catalan culture and Catalanism, hence the motto “Més que un club” (“More than a club”). Unlike many other football clubs, the supporters own and operate Barcelona. It is the third-most valuable sports team in the world, worth $5.51 billion, and the world’s fourth richest football club in terms of revenue, with an annual turnover of €582.1 million.
The official Barcelona anthem is the “Cant del Barça”, written by Jaume Picas and Josep Maria Espinàs. Barcelona traditionally play in dark shades of blue and garnet stripes, hence nicknamed Blaugrana.
In March 2021, Lionel Messi overtook Xavi’s record of 767 games played for the club, and presently has made 778 official appearances in all competitions, while also holding the record for the most appearances in La Liga matches for Barcelona, with 520.
