Popular singer Ed Sheeran has revealed the most embarrassing thing he has ever done. He recently shared a strange story to narrate the cringeworthy experience, and fans have been reacting.
Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper, Ed recounted how he had a few drinks with family, only to wake up around 4 a.m. to go to the bathroom.
Revealing that he sleeps naked, Ed broke down how he found himself in the corridor of the hotel with no clothes on, wondering what he was going to do.
According to him, the situation got worse when he panicked and pressed the elevator button, which immediately sent him down to the lobby, where several hotel workers were gathered.
The “Thinking Out Loud” crooner stated that he immediately had to plead with the hotel employees to keep the incident secret.
“I sleep naked. I walk out to have a pee … I hear a door close and I open my eyes and I’m in the corridor, naked. No key, it’s like 4 a.m. And I’m like ‘oh my god what am I gonna do?’
I Panicked, grabbed a napkin and attempted to cover himself, then pressed the elevator button. I descended to the lobby, where staff is working in the hotel. I pleaded with them: Please can you let me back into my room, please can you not tell anyone about this?
I think that’s the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever done,” he said.
Ed Sheeran further noted that apart from music, he regularly indulges in rodeos, ranch dressing and baseball games.
He concluded by saying that after spending quality time in Nashville, he has grown deeply attached to the rhythm of American life.
