Manchester United manager Wayne Rooney has compared Harry Kane’s success with England to Cristiano Ronaldo’s development at Old Trafford. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the way Kane has evolved as a footballer is exactly the way Ronaldo thrived under Ferguson as a youngster, and he sees the Bayern Munich striker as the best England player ever.

Rooney added that Harry’s goals and performances have been incredible over the years.
His words, “Just the goals he has scored and his performances. He will go on and get the caps record as well, you would imagine – the caps he is on.
I just think how he has evolved as a player is incredible. He reminds me of Cristiano when we were at United and he was younger.
Sometimes he’s at a mad angle and he’s shooting and you’re like ‘what are you doing shooting?’
You might say ‘pass it’ but it doesn’t bother him, he’ll try it again and keep going – right and left foot. I think he’s, for me, the best England player. The numbers he is getting are incredible.”
WOW.
