Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has said that the club is now stronger. This comes after Barca made a long-awaited return to their iconic Camp Nou home with a 4-0 thrashing of Athletic Club.
According to him, returning to Camp Nou is very special for Barcelona, and the players are playing better because it is always a different experience in the stadium.

Lewandowski added that he was very proud of the team’s performance against Athletic Club, and he hopes for more of that in the near future.
His words, “We were returning to Camp Nou, and it was a special day for us. We’re very happy to be able to play here. From the beginning, we played very well, scoring two goals in the first half and another two in the second. We added three more points, although the most important thing is that we’re back here. Simply because it’s a different experience when we play here.
We were determined to attack from the start. So it felt special to score the first goal. I’m very proud. We have a very good team and now we have to look ahead. When we play at Camp Nou, we’re a slightly stronger team.”
WOW.
Futbol Club Barcelona is a professional football club based in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, that competes in La Liga, the top flight of Spanish football.
Founded in 1899 by a group of Swiss, Catalan, German, and English footballers led by Joan Gamper, the club has become a symbol of Catalan culture and Catalanism, hence the motto “Més que un club” (“More than a club”). Unlike many other football clubs, the supporters own and operate Barcelona. It is the third-most valuable sports team in the world, worth $5.51 billion, and the world’s fourth richest football club in terms of revenue, with an annual turnover of €582.1 million.
The official Barcelona anthem is the “Cant del Barça”, written by Jaume Picas and Josep Maria Espinàs. Barcelona traditionally play in dark shades of blue and garnet stripes, hence nicknamed Blaugrana.
In March 2021, Lionel Messi overtook Xavi’s record of 767 games played for the club, and presently has made 778 official appearances in all competitions, while also holding the record for the most appearances in La Liga matches for Barcelona, with 520.
